The last system of precipitation that left the coastal areas Sunday and the valley on Monday has moved off to the east allowing another mass of cold unstable air to be pushed on shore in the past few days.
This mass of cold air produced very cold temperatures overall and possibly may have reached freezing in selected areas. Skies are forecast to remain partly cloudy to mostly sunny with cold temperatures as another low pressure system pushes into the area.
Precipitation is forecast to begin late Wednesday night along the coast and into Thursday with milder temperatures ranging in the low 40’s to mid 50’s.
