Work Week Forecast Continues with Mild Temperatures and Sunny Skies

Much of northern California and Oregon remains under a stubborn slow moving an upper level ridge of high pressure that continues to push weather systems circulating off-shore to the north. Northeastern Oregon saw precipitation from a weather system that circulated down after missing most of northern Oregon and that weather pattern is expected to continue as the work week progresses.

Areas Inland valleys may see localized early morning fog develop as skies continue to be mostly clear with warm temperatures, cooling slightly as the ridge moves east later in the weekend. Temperatures are forecast to continue to reach the low 90’s for afternoon highs in some inland areas.

Dense fog is expected to continue to develop, beginning in the very early morning and continuing until about noon, before gradually becoming sunny with highs possibly reaching as high as 70 degrees cooling slightly under mostly sunny skies as the work week continues.
