Tuesday morning, at around 7:30 am, a woman was spotted by a passerby, slumped over in her car with a needle in her hand in southwest Medford. When medical personnel arrived, she took off at a high rate of speed.
Her gold GMC Yukon was located near South Medford High, where she was driving recklessly. She eluded officers throughout the west side of Medford for several minutes, eventually abandoning her vehicle at Main Street and fled on foot.
She was quickly found hiding in a backyard, actively trying to inject drugs.
23-year-old Klarissa Hahn had outstanding warrants for her arrest and was lodged on a total of 13 charges. The vehicle involved was also determined to be stolen.
