On Tuesday evening, just after 7:00 pm, emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision with a light pole at Foothill and McAndrews in Medford.
After officials arrived on the scene, it was determined that the incident was a single vehicle crash.
Rescue personnel determined that the woman driver was trapped in the vehicle and began the process of extricating the victim. During the process, rescue personnel activated the trauma system for the female driver who was unconscious and had a compound leg fracture.
Mercy Flights transported the patient to the hospital with serious injuries.
