Woman Charged in Bandon Double Murder

A 33 year old woman is in custody after a man called dispatchers from a neighbor’s house early Saturday morning April 11th, reporting that he had been shot and stabbed in his home just north of Bandon.

33 year old Ashley Margaret Webber was located inside a home where the body of 28 year old Jasmine Mae Moon was found when first responders arrived at the scene and was taken into custody and lodged at the Coos County Jail.

The first victim, 55 year old Michael Ray Lambert, who called 911 from his neighbors house reporting that he had been shot and stabbed, was taken to Bay Area Hospital when first responders arrived where he had emergency surgery and died of his wounds.

Officers then went to Lambert’s house where they found the body of 28 year old Jasmine Moon who it was later determined by authorities to have died of homicidal violence.

Police arrested 33 year old Ashley Webber, who found at the scene and believed to have been staying at the residence on two counts of murder in the first degree.

Michael Lambert was the occupant of the home and the suspect, Ashley Webber may have been living there. Another adult male found in the home has also been interviewed and is cooperating with authorities and believe there is no evidence he was involved in the deaths of Lambert or Moon.
