Grants Pass Police responded to East Park Street early Tuesday afternoon, April 8th, regarding reports of an assault just before 2:20pm.
It was discovered upon officers arrival that an adult male had been stabbed by his wife, identified as 39 year old Allison Jenkins of Grants Pass who had fled the scene before law enforcement’s arrival.
Grants Pass Police officers located the suspect hiding near the south end of Morrison Park and placed her under arrest.
The victim was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center where he received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Allison Jenkins was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on charges of Robbery 2 and Assault 2 at this time.
