A wet, cold weather system is pushing onshore to the north of Oregon, however, the system will push the current ridge to the east and as the system to north passes, Oregon and northern California will have bands of wet weather growing more steady as the week moves on.
In the valley, lows will remain low, down to the mid 30’s with fog in many areas and high temperatures only reaching the low to mid 50’s. Wet weather will pass through in waves as bands of unstable air from a low pressure system to the areas north.
On the coast temperatures are forecast to be slightly warmer overall than the valley, with lows in the mid to low 40’s and highs reaching the mid 50’s. A significant chance for rain will begin Tuesday evening.
