According to the US National Weather Service, a storm system over the Eastern Pacific Ocean will shift towards California over the next several days bringing gusty winds and rain this week with mountain snow possible late in the week. Rain may impact as early as Tuesday afternoon.
Marine conditions across northwest coastal waters will be generally quiet through Monday with low winds and subsiding seas. In fact, the combined sea state may even fall to 3 to 4 feet by Monday.
Conditions will then begin to deteriorate on Tuesday as a storm system brings gusty winds and steep, building seas through later next week. Plan for changing marine conditions next week.
