According to a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release, deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant Monday, January 13th, in Shelter Cove.
The culmination of a month-long investigation, the service of the warrant was initiated after deputies intercepted a parcel containing multiple pounds of processed marijuana being shipped out of state.
During the investigation, 60 year old Fredrick Hoss, of Shelter Cove, was identified as the individual who sent the package and was on scene at the time of the warrant service and found to be in possession of a firearm, 10g of methamphetamine, and 15 lbs. of marijuana being processed for sales.
Hoss was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on the following charges including a Felon in possession of a firearm, Prohibited person in possession of ammunition, Maintaining a drug house, Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of marijuana for sale.
