Early Saturday evening, May 2nd, responded to multiple calls just before 7:00 pm of an overturned vehicle on Interstate 5 north of Grants Pass.
First responders arrived at the scene of a violent crash where a vehicle had rolled several times and come to rest on the guardrail with the driver trapped in the vehicle.
Rural Metro Fire-Josephine County and Grants Pass Fire and Rescue spent approximately 20 minutes carefully extricating the victim who was then transported by American Medical Response to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Oregon State Police.
