U.S. Coast Guard Rescues 5 from Sailboat

On Wednesday October 16th, crews from both the U.S. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay and U.S. Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay rescued 5 people aboard a sailboat after they were unable to enter safe harbor due to current bar conditions.

Another rescue boat crew was able to safely tow the sailboat across the bar and moor the sailboat in safe harbor.
