On Wednesday October 16th, crews from both the U.S. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay and U.S. Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay rescued 5 people aboard a sailboat after they were unable to enter safe harbor due to current bar conditions.
Bravo Zulu to U.S. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay and U.S. Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay!Today, crews from both stations rescued 5 people aboard a sailboat after they were unable to enter safe harbor due to current bar conditions.After evaluating different options, the crews on scene had the five individuals donn survival suits and enter the water.
