Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay crewmembers aboard the 52-foot Motor Life Boat VICTORY towed a disabled 93-foot Motor Yacht, WATTA RYDE, to Newport, Ore., Saturday.
Outstanding work to the Victory’s crew for working together on a 14 hour overnight tow, that spanned 80 Nautical Miles, and assisted a 93’ motor yacht weighing almost 200 tons.
It was a grueling 14-hour towing evolution involving a vessel roughly twice the size of the Victory.
