U.S. Coast Guard Air Station North Bend reported that on Thursday, July 6th, the North Bend Air Station responded for an agency assist at the popular hiking spot known as Blue Pool, Tamolitch Falls.
After a a suitable hoisting location was established, ground crews from multiple agencies including Lane County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, as well as Linn County Search and Rescue, worked incessantly to stabilize, prepare and transport the injured individual to the hoisting location.
The aircrew then performed a litter pick-up of the survivor and a double lift of the swimmer and paramedic.
No other details have been released.
