Monday, Feb 25 at approximately 11:45am, Illinois Valley Fire District responded to a 2 vehicle crash just south of the Hayes Hill summit. One driver was pinned inside of the vehicle and required extrication by Illinois Valley Fire District.
Both drivers were transported code 3 to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center by American Medical Response.
There were no other passengers in the vehicles.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Oregon State Police. Also assisting at the scene was Josephine County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Oregon Department of Transportation, and Rural Metro.
