On Friday evening, March 29th just before 9:00 pm, Illinois Valley Fire District dispatched units to a two-vehicle crash on Redwood Hwy. 199 in Kerby.
One vehicle rolled onto its side, the driver and passenger where able to get out of the vehicle without help or injury.
The other vehicle was off the road on an embankment when units arrived. The driver was pinned and required extrication by Illinois Valley Fire District. No one from either vehicle was transported by American Medical Response.
Cause of the crash is under investigation by Oregon State Police. Redwood Hwy. 199 was closed for approximately 2 hrs. Traffic control was provided by IVFD CERT and ODOT.
