Early Wednesday evening, April 1st, Harbor Fire Department, Winchuck Fire, Cal-Ore, Curry County sheriff’s deputies and REACH responded to a single vehicle crash approximately 13 miles past the end of the county road up Winchuck River road.
After first responders located the crash site, it was determined that the occupants had sustained considerable injuries and airlift would be necessary sending crews to secure a landing site in the remote terrain.
One patient was transported by ambulance to Sutter Hospital while the was air lifted to Rogue Regional Medical Center.
