Two small quakes struck northern California and Oregon coasts late Friday evening, September 20th.
The first quake struck off the northern California coast approximately 50 miles southwest of Eureka, California, at 9:50pm, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale.
The second quake rattled an area approximately 5 miles south east of Gold Beach just after midnight September 21st, with initial reports measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale, and 5 miles deep.
No tsunami’s or tsunami warnings were generated as a result of these quakes.
