Two earthquakes struck off the northern California coast Friday, with the first quake striking just before 9:30am, Friday morning.
The first of the two quakes struck approximately 50 miles west of Eureka at 9:26am, at a depth of 10 miles, and registering 4.3 on the Richter Scale.
The second smaller quake, rattled much closer to shore just 30 miles southwest of Eureka, reaching 3.4 in magnitude almost 18 miles deep early Friday afternoon at 1:41pm.
Neither quake generated a Tsunami, Tsunami warnings or alerts.
