Two earthquakes struck off the coast Labor Day, September 2nd, one striking on the Blanco Fracture zone, and the other striking further to the south off the coast of Eureka.
The first struck approximately 130 miles west of Bandon Ore, at 11:00am, measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale and 14 miles deep.
The second of the two temblors, measuring 2.7 in magnitude, struck just before 5:00pm early Monday evening, approximately 50 miles southwest off the coast of of Eureka, California.
Neither of the two tremors developed a Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings.
