On Wednesday afternoon, July 11th, Josephine County Deputies were conducting surveillance and determined that a stolen 2002 Toyota Tacoma may have been located at that same location.
Deputies confirmed that the stolen vehicle was on the property and preparing to leave the location.
After the vehicle entered the roadway, Deputies immediately attempted to flee from Deputies. At this time, another Deputy in the area deployed spike strips which were effective at deflating the tires of the fleeing vehicle.
The driver, Jesse McIntyre, drove around a patrol vehicle and continued down Dick George Rd. until finally crashing into a ditch a the intersection of Holland Loop Rd.
Both McIntyre and his passenger, Chrisopher Williams, fled on foot before they were both taken into custody after a short foot chase.
