Late Tuesday evening, January 10th, Del Norte County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Lake Earl Dr. near South Bank Rd. at at approximately 11:00pm.
During the stop, K9, Captain Zuko, was deployed by Deputies and alerted for narcotics near the drivers side door and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
During the search of the vehicle, 2 firearms and approximately 9 grams of methamphetamine were located by Deputies.
Jose Cabera-Sanchez and Uriel Torres were arrested and taken into custody at the Del Norte County Jail on charges related to weapons and drugs.
