The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety Officers responded to The Rogue Medical Center regarding suspicious injuries to a 1-month-old male child. The child was taken into protective custody pending an investigation into the nature of the injuries.
Detectives arrested (Father) Bryan Merritt and (Mother) Alexandria Williams (both local transients) and both were lodged into the Josephine County Jail on charges of Assault 1 and Criminal Mistreatment 1 (2 Counts).
