Assisted by a U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer, the Curry County Road Department, and Cooters Towing, deputies from the Curry County Sheriff’s Office removed vehicles, an older R.V. and trash along the roadside of North Bank Chetco River just above Loeb Park Wednesday, April 3rd.
The vehicles had been tagged for tow in January and were non-operational and the two people who were associated with the vehicles, 39 year old Kenn Moore and 26 year old Felisha Davidson, were both arrested on valid Curry County warrants for Offensive Littering and Depositing Trash with a hundred yards of a waterway and while cleaning up the area, deputies saw human waste in the brush near the waterways.
Both Moore and Davidson had been issued citations for the offenses back in late January and were asked to clean up the area. Both Moore and Davidson failed to remove their trash and failed to appear in court on those citations and warrants were issued for their arrest.
Moore and Davidson were transported to Curry County Jail and lodged on the warrants and were additionally charged for Offensive Littering and Depositing trash within a hundred yards of a waterway.
