A Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop early Sunday Morning, January 12th, and based on the interaction of the stop, drug activity was suspected.
With the vehicle blocking the road, the driver was suspended and the vehicle was towed from the scene. K9 Poe later deployed on the vehicle and had a positive alert, indicating presence of the odor of narcotics.
A search warrant for the vehicle was applied for and received by the Deputy and the search was executed.
During the search, Glass Meth Pipes, a Handheld Taser, two Digital Scales, and 3/4 lb of Methamphetamine was discovered.
The investigation is on going.
