An upper level low is moving into the region as the ridge of high pressure responsible for the warmer temperatures and clear skies weakens and moves to the east. The latest weather pattern will continue over much of the area through Friday.
Inland areas are forecast to be mostly cloudy, gradually becoming sunny, with a calm northwest wind in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain in the mid 60’s through Saturday, before temperatures begin to cool Sunday, ushering in chances of precipitation late Sunday. Low temperatures will fall from the mid 40’s on Thursday to the mid 30’s as the weekend progresses. Highs will drop from the mid 60’s to the low 50’s with slight chances of rain late Sunday.
On the coast, mostly cloudy skies will persist on Friday, bringing a slight chance rain clearing periodically before chances of precipitation increase Saturday. As the temperature cools, snow levels will fall to about 2300 ft. with chances of rain increasing as the weekend progresses. High temperatures will remain steady in the mid 50’s, with early morning lows upper 30’s.
