Just after 1:00pm Saturday afternoon, September 5th, units from the Illinois Valley Fire District responded to reports of a rollover on Redwood Hwy. 199 north of Selma.
A water truck hit a power pole and rolled pinning the driver of a water truck in the cab requiring a lengthy extraction. Power lines were down across the Hwy. 199 causing traffic to be backed up for nearly an hour.
The patient was transported to Illinois Valley Fire District Station 2 to make a connection with Mercy Flights.
