Tale of Two Cities Continues with Triple Digits Inland, and Afternoon Highs in the low 70’s Along the Coast

The high pressure system over the region continues to establish itself after monsoonal moisture pushed itself into the area from the south producing thunder and lightning up and down the valley early in the weekend. Interior triple digit temperatures are expected to continue into the work week.

Triple digit temperatures and clear skies are forecast to continue into the work week with little relief in the evenings as lows only get down to the mid to upper 60’s and afternoon high temperatures reach triple digits.

Morning cloudiness, fog and patches of drizzle are forecast to continue into the week, again, keeping temperatures relatively low along the coast. Morning lows are forecast to be in the mid 50’s, with afternoon highs reaching the low 70’s in some areas.
