Suspect in Rogue River Double Homicide Captured

Just after 11:00am Friday morning, November 6th, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported that 35 year old Joshua Robert Miller, the suspect in an earlier reported double homicide in Rogue River, Oregon, had been taken into custody.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, late Thursday evening just prior to 11:30pm, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a resident reporting that Miller had shown up at their house and that the residents had then left the house.

Deputies responded to the location and set up a perimeter with assistance from Oregon State Police. Miller was taken into custody without incident at 3:16am on Friday, November, 6th.

The identity of the victims in this case are pending release until next of kin are notified.

The case remains under active investigation.
