Sunny Skies Short Lived as More Rain Looms on the Horizon

The high pressure that established off the coast early in the week has begun to make its move inland with warm sunny weather giving way to significant chances for more precipitation over the weekend.

Inland areas can expect warm sunny skies into Friday before significant chances of precipitation move in late Friday continuing through Sunday. Low temperatures are expected to range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s with highs cooling from the mid 60’s to the mid 50’s into the weekend.

Coastal areas are forecast to wake up to localized areas of fog and warm sunny afternoons into Friday before a low pressure system moves onshore bringing rain as early as late Friday evening. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid to upper 50’s for afternoon highs with morning lows cooling to the low to mid 40’s through the weekend.
