A substantial trough of high pressure has established itself off the western coast preventing weather systems from the north from reaching the Pacific Northwest while pushing all moisture to the south.
Cold air will remain in the area through out the week end, however, sunshine and partly cloudy skies will be on the weather menu daily. The cold air will keep morning temperatures hovering in the low 30’s with possible patchy freezing fog in the valley and highs will reach the low 50’s.
