A cold air mass will descend upon the area Saturday night into Sunday morning with areas of frost. Low temperatures are expected to be mostly in the mid-30s for the valleys west of the Cascades (inland from the coast), but some areas, especially the typically colder valleys surrounding Medford, Roseburg and Grants Pass, could dip down close to freezing. Take care to protect frost-sensitive vegetation, since it could be damaged or killed if left unsheltered or uncovered.
