Early Monday morning, June 12th, a report regarding a stolen vehicle in rural Grants Pass was received by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office just before 7:30am.
The vehicle was located by the Rogue River Police Department on Rogue River Highway, and the vehicle attempted to elude authorities.
After arriving at Whispering Pines RV Park, the suspect then ran from the truck, leaving the vehicle in gear, allowing the truck to continue and crash into the Rogue River.
After the female suspect was detained and put in custody, she gave officers a false name and will be properly identified before being lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
