Very Early Thursday, February 27th, just after midnight, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol in the area of U.S. Highway 101 conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation.

The vehicle was occupied by three subjects, one of which was found to be on active probation with a search clause. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located two loaded, stolen firearms, cannabis, cocaine, and a ski mask.
Tyrone Anthony Ridguard, 43, of Houston, Texas, was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of carrying a concealed stolen firearm, possession of a loaded firearm known to be stolen, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana while driving, and failure to stop at a stop sign.

The other two occupants were released at the scene.
