The low pressure circulating off the coast of Washington shifted to the south and pushed rain and unsettled weather to the regions south, providing rain for much of California, and clear warm skies for southern Oregon and most of northern California over the holiday weekend. Much of the same is in store for the beginning of the work week, with changes lingering as mid week approaches.
Inland areas are forecast to continue to see mostly clear skies and warmer temperatures as the week progresses with temperatures reaching the warmest they have all year so far. Low temperatures will be cold with early morning lows in the upper 30’s, and afternoon highs reach the mid 70’s.
Coastal areas will see much of the same to start the work week, with clear skies and warm afternoon temperatures, however, more unsettled weather is forecast to move into the area midweek. High temperatures along the coast are expected to their warmest Monday, with highs reaching the mid 70’s, before another weather system begins to approach Wednesday.
