Significant rainfall expected Friday through Sunday morning. Rain amounts will be highest along the SW Oregon coast and especially the Shasta Region, where 2-4 inches of rain will be common. This could cause ponding of water on roadways, especially in areas that had recent heavy snowfall. Lighter rain is expected elsewhere, and snow levels with this system will be fairly high.
Low pressure will bring an extended period of breezy to windy conditions across the area Thursday night through Saturday. The winds will come in two separate surges, one Thursday night into Friday morning, then another late Friday into Saturday. The strongest winds will impact the southern Oregon coast mainly from Cape Blanco southward.
