Series of Three Quakes Hit Off the Coast Wednesday Morning

A series of three earthquakes were recorded off the northern California coast Wednesday morning.

The first struck Wednesday morning, just before 8:05am, approximately 60 miles southwest of Eureka California, measuring 3.6 on the Richter Scale approximately 5 miles deep.

The second of the two temblors, initially measuring 3.0 in magnitude, struck just minutes after the original quake  at 8:44am Wednesday morning, just over 10 miles east of the first quake.

The third and final quake Wednesday measuring 3.2, was again in the same vicinity of the first two, this time directly in between the first two approximately 60 miles southwest of Eureka California.

No Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings were generated by these quakes.
