Early Friday morning, March 6th, at approximately 12:30am Medford Fire and Rescue responded to a rollover vehicle crash on I-5.
First responders arrived to a tractor trailer that had rolled onto it’s side, tearing off the back door and top of the trailer. The contents, which included vinegar and gluten free snack crackers, spilled onto the freeway and side of the road.
A secondary accident involving a small pick-up truck and a van occurred as fire crews were responding to the scene. No one was injured in either incident.
Medford Fire and Rescue provided initial traffic control until Oregon Department of Transportation arrived. Firefighters put down absorbent around the tractor, secured the batteries, and were then released by Oregon State Police.
