Multiple agencies including the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office the Oregon State Police and the Illinois Valley Fire District responded to a vehicle crash after hitting a power pole on Lone Mountain Rd. near Jerry Dr., just outside O’Brien, Saturday morning, November 26th.
With power lines on the ground after hitting a power pole, one person was pinned in the vehicle, but the passenger was able to self extricate.
The person involved with an additional vehicle that was reportedly involved in the crash and remained under the powerlines was not hurt.
The victim was extricated and freed from the vehicle and both occupants were transported with extensive injuries to Trauma Facilities.
Cause is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
