Port Orford Police and the Curry County Sheriff’s staff are investigating a bank robbery at the Port Orford branch of Rogue Credit Union.
The incident occurred on Monday, December 4th at about 5:34 pm.
The white male suspect, believed to be in his mid 50’s, appeared to have an average to heavy build. He was about 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoody jacket, blue jeans and light colored desert color boots. He also utilized a blue cloth to cover the majority of his face.
During the robbery, the suspect brandished an edged weapon, demanded money and then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. No one involved was injured.
