According to the Talent Police Department, staff at Talent Middle School found an adult male inside the girl’s locker room on Monday afternoon.
The man was found and asked to leave the school property and the Talent Police responded to the school location.
According to the Talent Police Department, staff at Talent Middle School found an adult male inside the girl’s locker room on Monday afternoon.
The man was found and asked to leave the school property as the Talent Police responded to the school location. The suspect had left the scene.
After reviewing surveillance footage it was determined that the man had been on the school grounds for over an hour before being detected, spending the majority of that time in the girl’s locker room.
Authorities were able to identify the suspect as registered sex offender Curtis Stevenson.
Stephens was later located at a home in the Ashland area and taken into custody without incident. Officers located items taken from the school, drug paraphernalia, Methamphetamine, and other stolen items.
Stevenson was arrested on multiple charges and is lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
