Thunderstorms are forecast this week beginning as early as Monday morning. These thunderstorms will begin with little rain and then become wetter with time.
Dangerous cloud to ground lightning may occur and very little rain is forecast with these storms increasing the threat for new fire starts due to lightning. These thunderstorms could continue overnight into Tuesday and into Wednesday afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to remain warm both on the coast with high’s in some areas reaching the low 70’s and the upper 90’s inland.
