Rain and More Rain Forecast as a Series of Pacific Storms Impact the Region

A series of pacific storms are forecast to continue moving through the region with the heaviest rain expected south of Cape Blanco Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, continuing through the weekend. High Wind Warnings and High Surf Warnings continue with heavy rain expected Thursday morning and again over the weekend. Most of Curry and Josephine counties and western Siskiyou County are under a slight risk for excessive rainfall Saturday and into Sunday morning.

Inland areas are forecast to see rain, heavy at times, through out the rest of the week and the weekend as multiple weather systems progress across the region. Afternoon highs are expected to be in the upper 40’s with lows in the low 40’s with snow levels at the highest elevations.

Rain, heavy at times, is forecast to continue along the coast with localized as weather systems continue to move onshore.. High Surf Warnings have been issued by the National Weather Service from the central Oregon coast to northern California coastal areas through Tuesday. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid 40’s with much of Curry and Josephine counties under a slight risk for excessive rainfall Saturday and into Sunday morning.
