A series of earthquakes continue to rattle southwest of Eureka, California after three quakes struck that general area within an hour of each other very early morning, Friday, April, 2nd.
Two quakes, a 5 mile deep, 4.6 approximately 110 miles southwest of Eureka, and a 12 mile deep, 4.4 magnitude temblor approximately 50 miles southwest of Eureka, both struck within seconds of each other at 1:21am Friday morning.
Another 2.5 quake struck just over 50 miles southwest of Eureka within the same hour at 2:19am.
