A 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook the northern California coast Sunday morning, August 13th, just west of Eureka.
The U.S. Geological Society recorded a 3.8 magnitude earthquake 8 miles northwest of Eureka, California, just before 8:30am Sunday morning, at a depth just over 14 miles.
A tsunami was not generated and no tsunami warnings were issued.
