On Wednesday afternoon at 3:08pm, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the northern California coast just 35 miles southwest of Eureka, California. The temblor stuck just 8 miles deep and failed to produce a Tsunami or a tsunami warning.
The relatively shallow quake was felt from beyond Brookings, Oregon to the north and as far south as Ukiah, California.
