On Tuesday, February 16th, a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a red Mini Cooper commit multiple traffic violations as it was driving eastbound Blackwell Rd. at approximately 1:06pm in the afternoon.
As the deputy turned to make a stop, the Mini Cooper began driving recklessly. A vehicle pursuit was initiated and ultimately concluded on Industrial Circle in White City where the vehicle went down a dead-end road.
The driver, identified as 37 year old Brent Allen Corliss, of Grants Pass, Oregon, was found to have felony warrants for his arrest from the Oregon State Parole Board and Josephine County and was taken into custody without further incident.
Corliss, who also had an adult female passenger in the vehicle, was also charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Reckless Endangerment, Reckless Driving and Attempting to Elude by Vehicle.
