Bright sun, light wind and with open track before them, Brookings-Harbor High School held its home track meet Wednesday afternoon and the athletes performed as great as the weather.
The Compass talked with head coach Jason Fulton, ” It was a great day for our one and only home meet. We had our Senior Night for Derek Tuttle and Troy Tatro. Wonderful for them.” he said. “We had many personal records, and at this time, 10 athletes have been invited to 24 events at the 71st Grants Pass Meet this weekend.” he went on to say. “The coaches are very proud of all the athletes and their hard work these past few weeks. It showed today!”
Coach Fulton went on to say “thank you to all the people who came to help us run our meet. It could not be done without them at all. Also a huge thank you needs to go out to Athletic Director Jean Shearer and all of her hard work behind the scenes to keep all of our high school sports seasons running as smoothly as possible.”
