Panthers to Host Bruins in Hwy. 101 Rivalry Thursday… Coach’s Issue ‘Pink Out’ Challenge

On Thursday evening, October 7th, the Gold Beach Panther football program will be hosting the Brookings-Harbor Bruins in a continuation of their Hwy. 101 rivalry.

In a gesture of solidarity for a national and local cause, Head Coach Chris Higgins and his Gold Beach Panther football program reached out to Brookings-Harbor Bruins head football coach Shaun Bavaro and together have declared a “PINK OUT”.

A challenge from both programs to the fans from BOTH teams, and the community, to saturate Gold Beach High Schools Jay Johnson Stadium in pink, by wearing pink, to honor all of those, as well as those in our own local communities, who battle breast cancer.

Pink T-shirts will be available while supplies last at the stadium for $10.00, and a free pink bracelet will be provided with payed admission.

Wear PINK, fill the stadium, and see a great football game. Kick-Off at 7:00pm Thursday night, October 7th.
