Over 6 lbs. of Fentanyl Pills Seized in Traffic Stop

Just before noon, August 26th, 2020, a Trooper from the Central Point Area Command stopped a 2014 Toyota Camry for a lane usage and safety belts violation on northbound I-5.

During the traffic stop, a probable cause search was conducted. The search of the vehicle revealed approximately 6.4 pounds of suspected fentanyl pills concealed in the trunk and under the back seat of the vehicle.

The driver, identified as 20 year old Eric Osuna from Moreno Valley, California and the passenger, 20 year old Adrian Perez also from Moreno Valley, California were lodged in the Jackson County Jail on multiple charges including Unlawful Manufacture/Delivery and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Schedule II.

Troopers were assisted during the investigation by members of the Homeland Security Investigations-Medford Office.
