The state park system announced Tuesday that it will remain closed after May 8th. Overnight and other reservations will be automatically cancelled until at least after May 25th.
The state park system is working on plans to re-open some parks for daytime visits as soon as it’s safe to do so, but date are not yet set. Camping will restart after day-use.
When health goals are met, and our neighbor communities are ready, openings will begin to start to open, however, things will be a bit different to protect you, our staff and volunteers, and the park.
